Tangerine & Lime Install Today

I installed a few pieces of furniture today into a home I've been working on the past couple of months.  I love the crisp colors of Tangerine and Lime and the pops of color it gives to this home.   I also appreciate that my client loves the way it turned out and said she would have never picked these colors if I didn't bring them to her.  It's always fun to bring someone out of their comfort zone!

This sofa has very clean lines with a curved camel back. 

I am obsessed with these dining chairs.  I've used them in black before and this warm brown finish is just as stunning.

This lime fabric is a great option to use as a solid because it has a nice texture to it and some shine!  It's perfect for a living room setting.  I used it as a small welt around the floral pillow as well.

This ottoman is my new FAVORITE!  I had it custom made to fit this Family Room.  I work with a lot of families so designing around children is often my biggest challenge.  I work hard to balance style and functionality.  This ottoman is my new solution for a family room coffee table.

That's right, it flips to a table top AND has storage.  Mom's out there are excited!  The minute I flipped it back to the ottoman their sweet little boy got right back on and started jumping :)

Silver Sage Dream

I worked on this lovely home about a year ago and haven't had the chance to take pictures of it yet.  So, while I was there today I quickly snapped a few photos.  I will take some more pictures as well as post the before and after shots in the next couple of weeks.

 I love this steamer trunk coffee table.  The aluminum mixed with leather straps is beautiful.

 The soft color palette mixes nicely with the raw woods.

Design Idea: Mixing Up Your Bed Sheets

I hope you all had a great weekend!  I spent this weekend (like most weekend's) buried in laundry and while I was folding our sheets this blog post came to me.  The idea of mixing bed sheets.  I think this is something most of us do when we are in a pinch and just grab whatever is folded and ready to go but I LOVE the intentional mixing of our bed sheets.

I love mixing patterns and prints in general so the idea of mixing things up with bed sheets is a no brainer.  Tone-on-tone patterns and prints work great if you want to keep it simple.

I am a fan of all white bedding in the Master Bedroom but I love mixing and layering the white's.  A solid white duvet with a patterned white top sheet and a striped white fitted sheet, etc.  Mixing up white's is a beautiful thing.

Switching around your bedding is a simple way to bring in some change.  Look in your linen closets and play with what you have. 
Who knows, maybe you'll even sleep better! :)
