Austin, TX {Dining Room}

This week we are sharing our Austin residential project.  Thank you for all of your kind comments and emails!  If you are just joining us you can view the exterior here and the kitchen here.

Today, the Dining Room.
We spent some time finding just the right wallpaper for this room.  I loved the idea of using something with a dark background to really pop off the white wainscoting.  I was so happy to find this paper, it has that modern traditional feel that I love so much!

We spent months trying to find the right chandelier.  Lighting can be so difficult sometimes!  Trying to find the right size, shape, style, etc. can be a challenge!  This chandelier is a great size for this room, brings in the black from the paper, the gold from the buffet and pairs wonderfully with the kitchen pendants.  Thankfully, this was added to the Circa Lighting line during our search!  Worth the wait!

Mixing dining chairs…always a good idea!

We still have the Family Room, Laundry room, sitting room, Master Bedroom and bath and a few other details to share. :)

In other news, I'm off to CA this week to work.  I'll post some updates to our Facebook page so follow along if you'd like :)

Have a good day!

Austin, TX {Kitchen}

Our client had some great ideas for her new kitchen.  My favorite idea was to incorporate this sleek white stove/oven.  What a nice break from stainless!  I love the mix going on in this space.
The brass pulls are from Home Depot and I am loving the contrast against the dark grey cabinets.

 The Hick's pendant...timeless!

Next up, the Dining Room...stay tuned!

BDG Home Tour: Austin, TX

Happy Monday!  I hope you are all enjoying your summer.  Nothing makes me happier than blue skies and warm air.

I finally loaded the photos from our Austin residential project and have about a weeks worth of photos to share.
I hope you enjoy this home as much as I do!

Let's start with the exterior....shall we?!

This Saltbox inspired exterior is truly eye catching.  The white siding, black front door and brass hardware….I love it all!  The beautiful tree lined street doesn't hurt either!

This home was designed and constructed by the talented duo of Clint Garwood of Garwood Architecture and Larry Anderson of Larry Anderson Construction.

Love this historical neighborhood just outside of downtown.

She's a beauty!!
