DESIGN IN PROGRESS...
I really kick myself for not taking BEFORE photos of this beautiful home to demonstrate the impact of color! The walls were originally a goldish color with red and yellow accessories throughout. NOW, it has turquoise walls with black and white accents. Just changing the paint color and accent pillows made a drastic change. We are waiting for a few finishing touches so for now I just have some close up shots to share.
-added new pillows to the white slip covered sofa in the Family Room
-added wood paneling to the arches....beautiful!
-added a white beveled subway tile backsplash. I LOVE beveled subway tiles!
Love the dimension of this tile.
(I do not love this close up picture-even with my new camera! Clearly I have zero photography skills!)
We are just waiting on the Family Room draperies, wallpaper above the new wainscot in the Dining Room and to get new sofa's in the Living Room. Can't wait to see it all come together! More pictures to come :)

BLACK AND WHITE DESIGN
I always get so inspired by the projects I am working on and I recently added this color combination to a home and I love the way it has turned out! Classic black and white is timeless and so versatile. If black and white is your overall scheme you can easily incorporate almost any accent color. You can paint turquoise walls, add bright pink accents, bring in yellow accessories whatever color you are drawn to works great with black and white. Here are some great black and white products.... |

RESTAURANT DECOR
I just got home from a quick 24 hour kid free vacation...my first ever! My fantastic In-Laws have been visiting from Minnesota so my husband and I seized this rare opportunity to get a night away. We stayed in Downtown San Diego and just walked around, spent time by the pool and went to dinner, a great get-away!
While we were walking around we found this great restaurant, Searsucker. I absolutely love the decor and wanted to share.
I love the tall ceilings, exposed brick and raw materials. I love the way they made this large space cozy by mixing textures, mismatched chairs, unique lighting, rugs and unexpected elements. I wish we had places like this in the burbs! :)

FABRIC FABRIC LINE
This post is dedicated to my most favorite of all fabric lines, ROMO. My trips to LA are mostly revolved around visiting the Showroom that carries this line of fabric. My design color concepts are created from the fabrics I get inspired by not so much from pictures in magazines or on the web. So, when I get the green light on a new project the first thing I do is start looking for the perfect "lead" fabric. Then my design builds out from there.
Romo Fabrics are so versatile in patterns and their palette is unbeatable.
Love.
I love a great stripe! Romo has some of the most beautiful stripes.
I love the touches of raspberry with robin's egg blue
More raspberry love......
LOVE this stripe!
Beautiful burst of coral
This line also carries equally fantastic wallcoverings.
Most of their fabrics have coordinating wallpapers.
I am not sure if you can buy this line at retail but I have seen a few pillows on Etsy.....
Coral, Grey and green.....unique color combo
If you would like to inquire about purchasing any of these fabrics contact me through our website
