Mirror Love

This home is almost ready to share with you...it's a little glam, slightly modern, a little traditional with some unique pieces all covered in rich jewel tone fabrics.  We just got this mirror in and I am crazy about it!!

Seriously, this mirror is amazing in person!  More pictures coming soon.

Project Update

Bringing back an old favorite to show you a NEW update.

Remember this job I did last year?

I really love the soft, natural feel of this home.  It is so soothing and very California Casual to me.

I just stopped by to see the NEW chandelier and artwork installed in the DINING ROOM.
The simple botanical artwork and pewter chandelier really flow nicely with the Living Room.

I did struggle with the random skinny window in the middle of what would be a GREAT focal wall....a large window to add drapery to or no window at all would have been so much easier to work with.  However, I think having two pieces flank the window helped balance out the room and add some interest to the wall.

On a side note, I had planned to post pictures from my install last week but the iphone paired with the time of day left me with some grainy photographs.  I'll re-take them with a decent camera and be sure to post.

Have a great week!

Nice Curves

Just installed these pieces this morning.
I love the lines.
Lots of curves!
Design Tip:  Using a bench on one side of your dining table is a childproof way to incorporate upholstered chairs and not worry about the kids spilling on them.  They get the bench!

The curves on this coffee table make this piece so unique!

Beautiful tufting!

The slight curved back on this sofa and arm give this piece some character.  It also has casters which I LOVE.

I am installing two more jobs on Friday and I'll post some pictures when I'm finished.

Hope you are all gearing up for SUMMER!!!

The Office~San Clemente Project

Well, today is my final post with pictures from my San Clemente Project.  I will add the whole series to the portfolio section on the sidebar for those of you who might have missed some of the rooms and want to see more.  I have to say that this was a great home to work on with such wonderful clients!

the Office

This room is actually the Living Room but my clients knew they didn't have a need for typical living room furniture.  They wanted to use this room as more of an office space for paying bills and a quite place to work.

I custom framed this oversized pin board with white linen in a vintage looking frame.

It has been so fun having so many pictures to share.  Now, back to using my simple camera with minimal photography skills :)
